Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 6 June 2026

This is the privacy policy for Football for Girlfriends (the "app"), a mobile application published by Hannah Blair ("we", "us") and available on the Apple App Store.

TL;DR

1. What data is on your phone

The app stores the following on your device only, in standard iOS app preferences. None of it is transmitted to us:

You can clear all of this at any time by deleting the app.

2. What we share with third-party services

The app contacts the following services to generate content. We share only the minimum needed; we do not share your identity (because we don't know it).

Anthropic (AI provider)

Privacy: www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy

When the app generates the daily digest, conversation starter, chat brief, or fantasy advisor tip, it calls Anthropic's API. We send Anthropic:

We do not send your name, email, device ID, location, or any personal identifier. Anthropic processes the prompt and returns text. The conversation history is not retained for training your usage; see Anthropic's policy linked above for details.

Wikipedia / Wikimedia Foundation

Privacy: foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Policy:Privacy_policy

The app fetches player headshots from Wikipedia's public REST API and the Wikimedia image CDN. The request is anonymous (no identifier sent beyond a generic User-Agent string identifying the app for technical contact purposes).

BBC Sport

Privacy: www.bbc.co.uk/usingthebbc/privacy

The app fetches the public BBC Sport football news RSS feed once per day. Anonymous request.

Sky Sports

Privacy: www.skysports.com/privacy

The app fetches the public Sky Sports football news RSS feed once per day. Anonymous request.

Apple

Privacy: www.apple.com/legal/privacy

If you subscribe to Premium, Apple processes the payment through the App Store and tells the app whether your subscription is active. We never see your card details. Apple's standard App Store privacy policy applies.

3. What we do NOT do

4. Children

The app is rated 4+ on the App Store. It does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children, so it is COPPA / GDPR-K compliant by design.

5. Your rights

Because we don't hold any personal data about you, most data-subject rights (access, erasure, portability, objection) have no data to act on. If you want to be completely sure no trace of your usage remains, delete the app from your device — that removes everything.

If you have questions or want to exercise a right that isn't covered above, email hannahmirandablair@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

6. Where data is processed

Where data crosses borders to the United States, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses) maintained by the third-party services.

7. Security

We rely on iOS's built-in app sandbox to keep your on-device data protected from other apps. All network requests are made over HTTPS. We don't ever transmit your data ourselves because we never collect it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, if the changes are material, surface a notice in the app. The current version is always linked from the in-app Settings.
